Our care standards
You deserve to know who makes clinical decisions, how your medication is prepared and who to contact when a question comes up. Here is how care works at AnthologyRX.
Your goals start the conversation
Independent licensed clinicians affiliated with Arora Health & Aesthetics, LLC provide medical care. AnthologyRX coordinates the online experience. Your clinician makes the medical decisions.
Your Assessment brings together your health history, current medications, symptoms and goals. Your clinician may ask follow-up questions or request additional information before deciding what is appropriate. That review includes whether an FDA-approved treatment can meet your needs and, when a compounded option is considered, why it may fit your individual circumstances. A prescription is issued only when clinically appropriate.
You do not need to arrive with the answer. Describe what has changed and what you want help with. Your clinician can discuss the requested treatment, alternatives or a different next step.
Understand what is prescribed
Our catalogue includes FDA-approved medications and medications compounded by a licensed pharmacy to an individual prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and FDA does not review their safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing. Compounding can serve a patient whose medical needs cannot be met by an approved medication. Read FDA's explanation.
The distinction belongs in your care decision. Research about an ingredient does not establish that a compounded preparation produces the same results as an approved product containing it.
Pharmacy quality in plain language
We have verified with our partner compounding pharmacies that their quality programs include identity and potency testing, independent laboratory testing and batch documentation. For sterile preparations, those programs also address sterility and bacterial endotoxins. The specific tests and testing schedules depend on the preparation and the pharmacy's quality program.
Identity
Checks whether the material contains the intended active ingredient.
Potency
Measures the amount or concentration of the active ingredient against the preparation's specifications.
Batch documentation
Records the preparation process and relevant quality information so the pharmacy can trace a batch.
Sterility and endotoxins
Sterility testing checks for living microorganisms. Endotoxin testing addresses bacterial substances that can remain after bacteria are killed. These are separate quality questions.
USP Chapter 797 describes standards for sterile compounding. Its published guidance explains how testing requirements vary with the preparation and its beyond-use date. FDA explains bacterial endotoxins and why they require their own controls.
These practices address medication quality. They do not make a compounded medication FDA-approved or guarantee your treatment response.
Each treatment page includes a Pharmacy & fulfillment section with details for that formulation. Our pharmacy directory brings together partner names, license-verification links and state-specific information. Contact our team to confirm the pharmacy for your prescription and location.
You can also use FDA's state pharmacy-board directory.
Prescription care, from assessment to follow-up
AnthologyRX offers prescription care. Medications are prescribed for an individual patient and dispensed by licensed US pharmacies. Products sold as “research use only” do not provide that care relationship. A prescription requirement and access to a licensed pharmacist are among the checks in FDA's guidance for buying medicine online.
If treatment is prescribed, follow your clinician's directions and the dispensing pharmacy's instructions for your medication. The concentration and quantity shown on a treatment page describe the plan; your clinician determines your personal dose and directions.

How we put our treatment guides together
Our guides help you compare options, understand the evidence and prepare for a conversation with your clinician. AnthologyRX publishes them as the company offering these services. Source links let you read the research, prescribing information and regulatory guidance behind the clinical discussion.
A medical review credit identifies the clinician who reviewed that page's clinical content. You can follow the reviewer's profile link to their credentials. Our GLP-1 guides reviewed by Dylan Russell, MD show his credit and review date individually. A page's updated date can also reflect changes to pricing or plan details; it is separate from the medical review date.
Clinical evidence and plan information answer different questions. The GLP-1 cost guide shows our plan charges and billing intervals, while its comparison sources identify other providers' published offers. Pharmacy-board links in our directory let you check license records. Those records establish licensing information, not the test results for a particular medication batch.
Found something that needs correcting? Contact our team with the page link, the detail in question and any source we should check. Send personal treatment questions through the patient portal.
