BPC-157 is built around that problem.
It is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide modeled on a naturally occurring protective protein found in the stomach lining, one of the most demanding repair environments in the body. Researchers isolated the sequence now known as BPC-157 and have studied how it interacts with several parts of the tissue-repair process.
The findings are what made this peptide famous.
Research shows BPC-157 promotes new blood-vessel growth through VEGFR2, a signaling pathway your body uses in angiogenesis.1 In rat tendon and cultured tendon cells, BPC-157 increased the outgrowth, survival, and migration of the cells involved in rebuilding damaged tissue.2
